A game made for the 2021 Santajam. I had a ton of fun making it and learned a lot along the way. Step into the paws of a Red Squirrel trying to survive it's first year and stock up on food to last the winter.

I happened to play your game again this morning, and I'm dismayed that it's been nearly three years since you made this game for me and I have not properly thanked you for making it!
I'm really impressed by the animations of the cards, and the giant book too! I love how the animals blink; they sometimes blink once or they blink twice in quick succession and that's a really nice detail!
I deeply appreciate all the effort you put into the project, and I wish that all your creative and professional endeavors succeed!
Thanks man that means a ton! This game was actually a really big boost in confidence for me since it was something out of my comfort zone, and the first project I made that I considered feature complete. Hope you're doing well and I'm gonna try and join the Santajam again this year!

But this website font is a bit hard to read.
I am surely not the only one, who started first and figuring it out myself, but not understanding the game until reading the "how to play" :P.
And I found an Oak Tree in the first month, second playthrough :D.
